Institute for Peace and Justice - Founded in 1970 by Jim & Kathy McGinnis, IPJ offers educational resources, workshops, advocacy suggestions, and lots of free material for parishes, schools, families, and youth - around Catholic Social Teaching themes, especially Christian peacemaking after 9/11, with a Pledge of Nonviolence, and racial and economic justice.

Maryknoll Sponsored Youth Contests - In an effort to highlight the Christian works of today's youth and the specific ways teenagers make a difference in local communities, Maryknoll announces the sponsorship of two competitions for students grades 7-12: Maryknoll Student Essay Contest and Maryknoll Youth World Mission Award 2001.
